It is built for merchants who need shipping rates that reflect how far an order has to travel rather than a flat fee, letting the admin set charges by distance interval (for example, one rate for 10-20 km and another for 20-50 km) or per mile or kilometre. Distances are measured using the Google Distance Matrix API, from the store's Company Address in the standard CS-Cart edition or from the vendor's location in Multi-Vendor, to the customer's Address and City.
